About Valentine's Day – Muluwa Chrispin     Valentine's Day, celebrated annually on February 14, is a global holiday dedicated to expressing love and affection through cards, flowers, chocolates, and gifts. In 2026, it falls on a Saturday. It originated from a blend of ancient Roman fertility festivals (Lupercalia) and Christian traditions honoring St. Valentine.  Key Aspects of Valentine's Day: Origins:  The day is named after St. Valentine, a Christian martyr from the 3rd century. Legend suggests he was executed for secretly marrying couples, disobeying Emperor Claudius II, who believed single men made better soldiers. Traditions:  Common traditions include exchanging handwritten or store-bought cards ("valentines"), gifting roses, candy, and jewelry to partners, friends, and family. Modern Celebration:  It is a major commercial holiday often marked by romantic dinners and proposals, wi...

PRAYER AND FASTING - MULUWA CHRISPIN

Image
Prayer and fasting are powerful spiritual practices that draw us closer to God and strengthen our faith. Through prayer, we speak to God and receive peace, wisdom, and direction (Philippians 4:6–7). Fasting humbles our hearts and helps us depend fully on God rather than our own strength (Psalm 35:13). The Bible reminds us that “when you fast” and “when you pray,” showing that these are not optional but essential disciplines for believers (Matthew 6:6, 16). In times of challenges, prayer and fasting bring spiritual breakthrough, because “this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting” (Matthew 17:21). Let us encourage one another—family, friends, and loved ones—to remain committed to prayer and fasting. The truth is clear: victory begins in the place of surrender. “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you” (James 4:8). When we pray and fast, God renews our strength and guides our steps. ENDURANCE IS THE WAY TO GO - MULUWA CHRISPIN

1 Peter 5:10, NIV “After you have suffered for a little while, [God] will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.” (1 Peter 5:10, NIV) This verse teaches that suffering is temporary, not permanent. It does not deny pain, but it places pain within a larger purpose. God allows hardship for a season, but He does not abandon those who remain faithful. After the struggle, He brings restoration, inner strength, stability, and maturity. If you are in a difficult phase, this verse is honest: suffering happens. But it is also hopeful: suffering does not have the final word. Growth, strength, and restoration follow endurance. Stay grounded. What you are facing now is shaping you for what comes next. IT IS YOUR DAY TO WIN (ROMANS 8

Image
“In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” — Romans 8:37 This verse speaks with strength and clarity. Life brings pressure, setbacks, and moments that test our faith. The Bible does not deny these struggles. Instead, it teaches that in the middle of them , we still win. Being “more than conquerors” means we do not just escape problems—we rise above them with purpose and confidence. The key message is simple but powerful: our victory comes through Christ , not through our own ability. God’s love gives us resilience, direction, and courage to keep moving forward even when the road is hard. When fear tries to dominate, faith takes the lead. When weakness shows up, God’s strength responds. This verse challenges us to stop thinking like defeated people and start living like winners. No situation is final when God is involved. Keep believing, keep working, and keep trusting. The outcome is already settled—victory is yours. BY: MULUWA CHRISPIN WELCOME - ...

Good Will Message - Muluwa Chrispin

Image
Today is a new day, and it carries new mercy with it. Scripture reminds us that “the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning” (Lamentations 3:22–23). Whatever yesterday held, it does not control today. God has already gone ahead of you, and His grace is sufficient for every challenge you may face. Be hopeful and stand firm. The Bible assures us, “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established” (Proverbs 16:3). Do your part with faith and integrity, and trust God with the outcome. Today can be well—not because life has no problems, but because God is present, faithful, and working all things for good. Stay encouraged and move forward with confidence.
